"After our welcome, we will go straight to the Virgen de las Nieves Sanctuary, patron of the Island, where some of the most veteran celebrations are being held such as the procession of the Virgen de las Nieves (the Virgin of the Snows).
It has been celebrated since 1680 and is being celebrated every 5 years, with the next celebration to come being 2010.
Furthermore, some other typical celebrations such as the Enanos dance, the Minuet Festival or the Pandorga are part of the enjoyable richness of La Isla Bonita. We will lead to the Concepción as well know as Mirador de Buenavista, from where we will enjoy the best views to Santa Cruz de La Palma and to the las Breñas Valley.
We will visit the visitors' center to get to know better the history of this incredible volcanic bubble. We will then go up the mountain to get closer to la Caldera to enjoy this fantastic landscape.
